Well, hello! This is me. Though I've never been much for having my picture taken (yes, I know...ironic isn't it!). Someone, somewhere mentioned a self-portrait is requisite...and so, here it is!
I have been photographing for a very long time... I'm not certain what drew me to photography, over 20 years ago, but I do recall flipping through my university course catalog and finding a major for "photography" and "writing" (which both sounded great to me!) And that's how I began my journey, as a photojournalist.
My work has taken me to places near and far (wink), but perhaps more importantly, it has brought me to you, and people like you, whom find my work inspiring, and whom I find to be inspiring, too.
I hope you find the images on these (web) pages resonate with you. I strive to create imagery that is honest, unique, and heartfelt...after all, what good are photographs if they don't reflect what's actually there? My art is about you...your meaningful moments, depths of emotion, tears and joy.
It's an honor to be considered for a wedding, and every step of the way I am there to help guide, reassure, and photograph with artistic acumen...and always, with an open mind & heart.
